ABOUT OUR FURNITURE

Our furniture is made from reclaimed wood collected from various sources - architectural salvage, antique doors, farm timbers, and other various sources. Durable and sturdy, most furniture will be made from reclaimed Elm (hardwood) and Pine (softwood). All pieces have a protective topcoat that will last for many years provided the proper care is taken. We value and seek after materials with natural markings left over from its previous usage. Due to the reclaimed nature, all pieces will be one-of-a-kind with natural knots, gouges, cracks, and other variables. Due to each batch of reclaimed wood coming from different sources, color and hue will vary slightly-though our colorists take the utmost care to ensure matching our standard finishes. Our master craftsmen make each piece one at a time, so no two pieces are alike.

PROTECTING YOUR FURNITURE

-Avoid extreme changes in temperature and humidity by arranging furniture away from radiators, heat units, and air conditioners.

-Use protective pads or cloth to avoid surfaces getting scratched and stained in high useareas.

-Clean up spills immediately. Do not allow liquid to lay on any wood surface.

-Use coasters and heat pads for sweating drinks and hot containers.

-For better moisture protection, use a clear furniture wax on the furniture surface.

-Our furniture is not considered “outdoor”, but some pieces will be okay on a covered, outdoor porch. Please touch base with us for questions about which pieces are best for this environment. An extra clearcoat can be added for durability.
